Game rules

Call the Finish is a free game where you predict what happens next in live pro wrestling shows. There is no purchase, no entry fee and no betting.

Calls

During each show, Call the Finish's Gorilla posts calls: short questions about what's about to happen. Each call is open for a short time (usually 15 to 30 seconds; some stay open until the show starts). You get one pick per call and you can't change it once it's locked in.

Gorilla settles each call based on what happens as shown on the broadcast and in official results. If a call turns out to be unclear, or something unexpected makes it unfair, Gorilla can void it and nobody gets points for it. If a result is posted by mistake, it can be corrected, and everyone's points are recalculated.

TV sync

Streams run behind live TV. In TV sync you choose how far behind your screen is (0 to 60 seconds). Calls appear and lock that many seconds later for you, and results are never posted until every TV sync window has closed. Setting a bigger delay than your real one to see what happens first is against the rules, and accounts that abuse it can be removed from the leaderboards.

Scoring

Points add up to your season total. Practice shows are simulated and never count.

Wrestler Factions

You can choose a wrestler. Their fans form a Faction, ranked by the average points per fan who played. A Faction needs at least 3 players in a show to be ranked. The top one each show is the Smartest Faction.

Locker Rooms

A Locker Room is a private leaderboard. Anyone with the code can join. Up to 100 members per Locker Room, and you can be in up to 10.

Call the Rumble

Before launch, you can pick the men's and women's Royal Rumble winners. Picks lock when the event starts. Entries are scored after the event: 5 points for each winner you got right. Your place on the launch list moves up 10 spots for each friend who joins with your link.

Prizes

Call the Finish doesn't award prizes right now. If we ever run a prize promotion, it will have its own official rules, eligibility and "no purchase necessary" terms, posted before it starts.

Fair play

One account per person. No bots, scripts or multiple accounts. Names must not be offensive or impersonate anyone. We may remove names, reset scores or remove accounts that break these rules.
